    Nepal Archive 2014

The Nepal Archive is a project of Monotypes on found paper. When I came back from the trip to Nepal new shapes, colours and aesthetics became part of my practice so I wanted to honour them by generating this body of work.

I still remember very well the people I have met, the wonderful places I have seen and the smells that filled up my journey.

They are all Monotypes of canvas printed with all natural pigments I was finding along my walks in Margaret River, Western Australia.

The project started officially in July even though in April 2023 we had some important meetings with DADAA Lancelin, West Australian Opera, North Midland Project and the Historical society of Carnamah.

    Natural archive

The Natural Archive was a commission that a private collector wanted in his house in Bologna back in 2013.

It is a simple archive of natural elements with the aim of reminding the “forest bathing” process for a busy life.
